Favorite Finds #38

Welcome to another installment of “Favorite Finds.”

It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end already and fall is starting soon. In fact, some of you may already feel like it’s fall with school already having started for many of you.

Today I’m sharing a few favorites that transition between the last sweet moments of summer and first amazing moments fall. Enjoy!

DIY Console Table – Can you believe this is a DIY table? Yeah, DIY. This detailed tutorial shows you how to recreate this amazing table so you too can have one in your home.Sometimes it can be difficult to find a console table that fits perfectly in your space, but a DIY tutorial like this is totally helps!

Watermelon Sangria – I hate to get real right now, but this is probably one of your last chances to get sweet, ripe watermelons to enjoy in the summer heat. This Watermelon Sangria is a great way to serve up some refreshing watermelon for a Labor Day BBQ, or even for a girls night. Even as an evening cocktail with your dinner (or with Netflix). Your options are endless. And, with only four ingredients involved, it won’t take long to make.

Gem Sidewalk Chalk

Gem Sidewalk Chalk – These chalk gems make me feel happy! And nostalgic for my childhood. While they are mainly for kids to enjoy, you can totally use these chalk gems at parties or even as home decor. If you have a chalkboard wall at home, why not have some chalk gems nearby? Or if hosting a party, why not have chalk gems around for a party game or even just decor? The possibilities are endless for these cute gems!

Favorite Finds #37

I can’t believe July is coming to a close already. Summer is just flying by, and I’m not into it! If I had my way, summer would last forever…but I guess living in California is the next best thing. Here are some of my favorite finds––looks like I’ve got drinks on my mind!

Calligraphy Cake Topper

Calligraphy Cake Topper – I’ve got cake on my mind with all the summer birthdays going on! Leave it to me to have so many loved ones with birthdays in the summer (summer babies, unite!). This cake topper is so much easier to make than it looks…and doesn’t it look store-bought? You have to see what’s used to make the letters––it blew my mind!

Grilled Peach and Basil Arnold Palmer…with or without Bourbon.

Grilled Peach and Basil Almond Palmers – If you aren’t using peaches in your meals this summer, whether it be on salads on pizza, I have to ask––what are you doing with your life?! This refreshing recipe can be made with or without bourbon. It’s perfect to serve when you have friends coming over, or if you’re feeling a little fancy when you’re making yourself a drink.

I’m down to try these Inside A Watermelon Margaritas, where EVERYTHING is made inside the watermelon. WHAT? There’s a video too, if you have to see it to believe it.

Favorite Finds #36

Happy Sunday, everyone! Here are a few of my favorite finds:

Milk Chocolate Cookies and Cream Cookies

Milk Chocolate Cookies and Cream Cookies – Joy has done it again, coming up with a new, mouthwatering variation on a classic. I wonder how I never thought to combine chocolate chip cookies with Oreos, but I’m so happy that this recipe exists. I can’t wait to try it out one of these days.

DIY Watercolor Plates

DIY Watercolor Plates – How pretty are these watercolor plates? I could get stare at each plate for hours and not get sick of the varying shades of blue, green, and gold. The best part about these plates? They’re food-safe and dishwasher-safe, too. I’d love to make my own collection of these plates, or maybe make some as a housewarming gift for a friend.
