January Birchbox

January Birchbox 2014

I’m still on cloud nine thinking about my January PopSugar Box, so I wasn’t really counting down the minutes until I got my Birchbox this time around. I almost felt bad for not being excited as I was opening my box seeing as I got some pretty great items.

100% Pure – Fruit Pigmented Mascara. I didn’t know this was mascara until I read the description on the card. It’s a skinny tube of all-natural mascara. The pigment is made from fruit, according to the description, but no word on what the rest of “natural” ingredients are. Supposed to be good for sensitive eyes.

Fekkai – Brilliant Glossing Creme – This hair styling product can be used on wet hair or dry hair. It’s supposed to tame frizz and flyaways , plus add some extra sheen to your locks. I’ve never used Fekkai before (I’m pretty much set with Redken hair products) but I definitely want to try this product. Any product that is lightweight and keeps my hair looking great is one I want to try!

Nail Rock – Glitter – This full-size nail polish comes with a glitter pot of cobalt sparkles and, well, nail polish. Not sure if the nail polish is specially formulated for the glitter art or not. Looks like it’ll be fun to use though! The full-size version is $6.99

Harvey Prince – Journey – Another fragrance sample from Birchbox, but this one is supposed to be exclusive to Birchbox. I didn’t bother to smell it but according to the card, it has note of Indian tuberose and Japanese orange flower.

Burt’s Bees – An intensely hydrating day lotion. Perfect for winter skin! This was the “Birchbox Find” that I think everyone received in their boxes. Correct me if I’m wrong about that!

What did you get in your Birchbox this month?
