PopSugar Must Have May 2014

My May PopSugar Must Have box has finally arrived! I couldn’t wait to tear open the box and see what was inside. This box is all about gearing up for summer! It’s all about being healthy, energized, and bikini ready.

Here’s what came in my box:

Smell Bent St. Tropez Dispenser – $45

At first sniff, this perfume would remind anyone of the beach! It’s a light fragrance that’s perfect to wear anywhere in the summer, not just to the beach. What I love about it is you can wear it without worrying whether it’s too overpowering, as some scents can be intensified in the heat (which can be all bad). I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to pay $45 for it, but it definitely smells amazing and I’m happy to have it.

Zing Anything Citrus Zinger – $17

You can put any citrus fruit in this water bottle in the bottom compartment and it’ll infuse! It’s nice because it’s fairly effortless, making it good for people on the go. Instead of waiting for the fruit to infuse into the water, you can just put in a half of a fruit, fill up your water bottle, and be on your way.

Kerry Cassill Eye Mask – $24

I love napping, especially in the summer, because hot weather can get exhausting and tiring. One thing I hate though is that it’s hard to block out the light of the blazing sun even by shutting the blinds and pulling down the shades. This eye mask will help block out the remaining light, making sure short slumbers are as energizing as possible.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pool Boy Nail Lacquer – $10

This color is beautiful! It’s a mix of turquoise and robin egg blue. It’s vibrant (almost neon-like) but not in-your-face blinding. It’s a fast drying nail polish and is 100% vegan and cruelty free. It’s the perfect shade for summer. It would be super cute on your fingernails or toenails.

Tone It Up – $15

If you haven’t heard of Tone It Up, you are missing out! The ladies at Tone It Up share healthy recipes and tons of workouts you can do at the gym or at home. With this DVD, you can get a good workout without getting your butt to the gym. Or, if you’re on vacation, you can play the DVD when you have a moment to get a little workout in.

Hi I’m Skinny Sticks Multi-Grain Sweet Onion – $4

These snacks are a healthy alternative to all the chips and cookies that seem to make make their way to picnics and barbecues. I haven’t tasted these Skinny Sticks just yet, but they have less fat than potato chips and 15g of whole grains per serving. With that type of nutrition, you’ll feel a lot less guilty when you indulge in a few extra sticks!

Total value of the box: $115

This is it, folks. This is the last box in my 6-month subscription to PopSugar Must Have. I’m tempted to renew (maybe do a monthly subscription?) but I’m not sure at this point. It’s on the pricier side for a subscription box, and a lot of the boxes have proven to be well worth the price while others have been a little questionable. Overall, it’s been a good experience and if I came upon a good promo code, I’d probably subscribe again!
